Many supporters have since reacted to the news, with a number suggesting Soro could be the next N’Golo Kante.

Suggesting Soro could be the next Kante is an incredibly big claim to make given how successful the latter has been throughout his career.
The Frenchman has won the World Cup, Europa League and the Premier League twice, as well as the FA Cup, while Soro is still in the early stages of his career and currently plying his trade in the Israeli Premier League.

But while it is a bold comparison to make, it is easy to see why fans have drawn comparisons between the two.
The Daily Record suggest his ‘key traits’ are tackling and breaking up play, describing the 21-year-old as a ‘fearless’ and ‘energetic’ player; qualities Kante has displayed on multiple occasions during his career.
Furthermore, like Soro, Kante was relatively unheard of prior to his move to Leicester City, with Mark Schwarzer confirming he and his former teammates had not heard of the midfielder at the time of his transfer to the Foxes.
And if Soro does prove to be a player of Kante’s calibre, then he could prove an excellent piece of business for Celtic, given how previous reports have claimed he is available for a fee in the region of £3million.
It’s always dangerous to judge a player’s ability by watching a YouTube compilation or highlights on social media, but Soro does look a fine player and he possesses just what Celtic need in the middle of the park with his energy and ability in the tackle.
