Kristoffer Ajer has issued a response to speculation linking him with a move away from the club.
According to the Scotsman, former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is interested in taking the defender to Leicester City this month, but Ajer is happy at Parkhead.
I’m really happy now. I’ve got two and a half years in Celtic and I’m happy with it. I love playing for Celtic. All talk of contracts is between my agent and the club and I’m just concentrated on day-to-day work and trying to be the best footballer I can.

I’m not fussed about speculation. I’m happy here and want me and the club to have a fantastic next six months coming up. This is a great place to be. I really wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

Ajer stating his happiness at Celtic is a huge positive in our opinion.
The Norway international is an integral player for Neil Lennon, emphasised by the fact that he has played in all but two of Celtic’s games in all competitions this season.
Furthermore his versatility is a big pus for Lennon, who has used him at right-back at times this season if the likes of Jeremie Frimpong or Hatem Abd Elhamed have been unavailable.
Therefore we believe losing a player of his importance would have dealt the Hoops a significant blow in their quest for a fourth consecutive domestic treble this season.
