Celtic backed out of a deal to sign Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull in the summer after he suffered a knee injury in pre-season.
According to The BBC, Celtic agreed a fee with Motherwell and a contract with Turnbull, before trying to renegotiate the deal due to the knee injury and ultimately backing out.
Turnbull is now back in training for Motherwell, as he steps up his recovery to get back on the pitch.

READ CELTIC VERDICT
Back in October, the Daily Record claimed that Celtic were set to reactive their interest in Turnbull, although there has been little since to suggest that anything imminent is going to happen on that front. Regardless, these Celtic fans appear keen for the club to make a move for the attacking midfielder, despite his injury.
He scored 15 league goals in 30 games for Motherwell last season, at the age of 20, showing how effective he can be in this division. Due to his age, he also has plenty of potential and room to develop his game and become even better once he returns from his injury. This means that he could be a shrewd signing for Celtic, as he has proved that he can perform to a high level, whilst also holding potential for improvement.
