Celtic look as though they are going to miss out on the signing of Jack Clarke this month, with the winger looking “set” to join Queens Park Rangers in time for their clash with Leeds United this weekend.
The 19-year-old had his loan deal with Leeds cut short earlier this month following a lack of game time, Sky Sports confirmed, which prompted Celtic to make an approach for him, according to Football Insider.
However according to The Athletic’s Phil Hay, QPR are now “set” to sign Clarke prior to their fixture with Leeds on Saturday.

Missing out on Clarke isn’t a huge blow in my opinion, as it gives Neil Lennon the chance to give the likes of Marian Shved and Daniel Arzani an opportunity in the first-team.
The pair have reportedly impressed Lennon following their efforts in Dubai during the winter break, the Daily Record revealed, and they both deserve a shot.
James Forrest will still be first choice on the right, while Mikey Johnston and Mohamed Elyounoussi look set to battle it out for the first-team spot on the left.
However I think it would be excellent to see Shved and Arzani given a chance off the bench or against Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup on Saturday, for example.
