READ CELTIC VERDICT
Robertson’s goal against Chelsea was certainly a very well taken strike after some fine build up play from the Hoops, and we would love to see more of the midfielder in the first-team.
However with Ismaila Soro set to arrive at the club in the near future, with BBC Sport quoting Neil Lennon as saying the deal has been agreed, Robertson appears unlikely to get much of an opportunity in the second-half of the campaign in our view.
Do you think Scott Robertson will play in the first-team again this season?
Yes
No
Lennon has previously described Robertson as a “very good young professional however, in the Celtic View (Volume 55, Issue 25, Page 7) as cited by 67 Hail Hail.
Furthermore the Celtic boss also praised Robertson for his “excellent” showing in Dubai during the winter break, suggesting the midfielder is doing all the right things behind the scenes to impress Lennon.
