Marian Shved’s omission from the squad for Celtic’s 2-1 win over Partick Thistle on Saturday left many a Hoops fan confused.
The winger looked a shoe-in to feature at Firhill following what seemed to be a positive winter break for him, with The Herald quoting Neil Lennon as saying Shved was ready to “explode” onto the scene.
However the Ukraine international was overlooked, and a number of Celtic fans were not happy with that decision.

So frustrating.
You can guess at least 9 starters each week. (@pudpudboogie)

READ CELTIC VERDICT
There must be an explanation as to why Shved was not included in the squad for Saturday’s win over Partick.
It was the ideal time to give the winger his first start for the club in my opinion, given how the likes of Ryan Christie, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Mikey Johnston all missed out.

Furthermore, after hearing such positive comments from Lennon with regards to Shved’s progress in Dubai, I certainly expected to see him feature.
However he was overlooked as Manchester City loanee Daniel Arzani, new Bhoy Patryk Klimala and four defenders were named on the bench, and I feel Lennon has to given a reason as to why the winger did not feature.
