Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry has ruled out a January departure for the highly sought after Ivan Toney.
According to the Peterborough Telegraph, Fry has revealed there is “zero chance” of the 23-year-old leaving the League One side this month.
Bristol Live have revealed Bristol City and Celtic are among a host of clubs interested in signing him, with the Hoops having scouted him on Tuesday.
Bristol City have shown interest in Ivan and we do have a good relationship with them, but there is zero chance of Ivan going anywhere in January. I have had eight Championship clubs ask about Ivan as well as a couple from the Premier League, but my answer is always the same. There is not enough money in this transfer window to even tempt us into talking about selling Ivan Toney.

Celtic showing an interest in Toney is hardly surprising, given how prolific the striker has been this season.
The 23-year-old has scored 17 goals in League One thus far, adding another two to his tally in front of the Hoops scouts on Tuesday.
However with Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths both bang in form, while new Bhoy Patryk Klimala and Vakoun Bayo are also at the club, making a move for the £9m-rated Toney is not a move Celtic should pursue this month in our view.
