Celtic fans urge the club to stop advertising Edouard

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has been in prolific goalscoring form so far this season in the Scottish Premiership.

The Frenchman netted two more goals as the Hoops overcame Ross County in the top flight last weekend.

Edouard emerged from the bench and scored a quick brace to take his total tally in the league to 15 this term, the most in the Celtic squad at the moment.

Celtic’s official Twitter account posted a video of his quick impact and with the transfer window still open this week, some fans were not too pleased with the club’s timing.

Many teams have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old forward in recent months and Celtic posting about how good he is doing at the moment isn’t helpful with the transfer window still open hasn’t gone down too well.

These fans have urged the club to remain quiet about his exploits, at least until the end of the week.
