Hearts boss Daniel Stendel has revealed he will send his side out to get the three points against Celtic on Wednesday.
According to the Glasgow Times, Stendel claimed too many teams try and simply avoid losing when they play Celtic, but his team will be going for the win at Parkhead later this week.
You follow the scores on a Saturday and look for the Celtic game: 0-0, 1-0 Celtic, 2-0 Celtic – in the end, it is always a Celtic win because every team expects to have no chance. We do expect to have a chance and we want to play our style against Celtic.
When you go there and just hope Celtic don’t score then you can be hoping for a long, long time. Every team would like to win but, at first, a lot of teams just don’t want to lose. The game starts 0-0 and I want us to go for three points.
We know we are playing against the best team in Scotland, with a very good offence, but we have shown before that we can win against Rangers, so why not Celtic?

Stendel has every right to be confident about his chances of getting a result against Celtic, considering how Hearts upset the odds to beat Rangers at Tynecastle last month.
However, Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson also recently outlined his intentions to go out and attack Celtic prior to the meeting last week, and the Hoops ran out 4-0 winners on that occasion.
Therefore Stendel deploying a similar tactic on Wednesday appears admirable but it could be equally catastrophic for his team, especially when you consider the fact Celtic have already scored 22 goals from their seven fixtures in 2020.
