A number of Celtic fans have reacted to Rangers’ statement about a 12-year-old boy being charged in relation to racist chanting during the most recent Glasgow Derby in December.
Sky Sports confirmed on Monday that a 12-year-old had been charged after allegedly directing racist abuse at a Rangers player during the 2-1 defeat at Celtic Park last year.
And Rangers quickly issued a response of their own to the charge on their official website.
There have been a number of talking points in the aftermath to the game, which saw Celtic lose their first Glasgow Derby at home since 2010.
Ryan Christie was handed a two-match ban following an incident involving Alfredo Morelos (Sky Sports), while Morelos himself was the subject of debate following the game due to his throat-slitting gesture towards Celtic fans (Daily Record).
And following Rangers’ statement after the 12-year-old was charged, a number of Celtic fans have responded angrily to the tone of their rivals’ response.

No shame whatsoever. The club recently sanctioned by Uefa for their fans 'racist behaviour' now want to point the finger at a 12 yr old?
