Neil Lennon has identified two Hearts players who have caught his eye ahead of Wednesday’s clash at Celtic Park.

Speaking to the media ahead of the game earlier this week, Lennon revealed two of the Jambos’ January arrivals have impressed him.

I think they had a good window. They brought in some good players. We know Liam Boyce from his time at Ross County, and I know him as a young boy in Belfast, he’s a talented player. [Toby] Sibbick looks like a good find as well.

Boyce is likely to be a player Celtic are fully aware of after he scored Hearts’ winning goal against title rivals Rangers last month. But hopefully the Hoops can prevent him from having another say on the title race at Celtic Park on Wednesday.

Do you think Boyce is a threat for Hearts?

Yes

No

Sibbick meanwhile is not as well known, but the 20-year-old has looked good for Hearts following his loan move from Barnsley, and he has been praised by Daniel Stendel for his defensive performances (Edinburgh Evening News).

However, the Hearts boss has also revealed that Sibbick is a doubt for this evening’s clash with an illness, which could be viewed as a timely boost for the Hoops, considering how highly Lennon appears to rate him.
