Alan Brazil has sent Ally McCoist a brilliant message on Twitter following the latest round of Scottish Premiership results.

Celtic extended their lead at the top of the table to 10 points, after a 5-0 win over Hearts at home capitalised on Rangers’ 2-1 defeat to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Olivier Ntcham, Christopher Jullien, Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie and Jozo Simunovic all got on the scoresheet at Celtic Park on Wednesday, as the Hoops cruised past bottom of the table Hearts.

Rangers looked to have been heading for victory themselves after Scott Arfield gave them the lead with a fine effort from range.

However, a second-half turnaround saw Steven Gerrard’s men slip up again, with Stephen O’Donnell and Eamonn Brophy striking to dent Rangers’ title hopes.

Following the victory, Brazil sent a message to McCoist on social media, making a brilliant dig at Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos before claiming the title race is all over, and Celtic are already targeting 10-in-a-row.

Do you think the title race is now over?
