A number of Celtic fans have responded to Moritz Bauer’s comments about his loan move from Stoke City this season.
The full-back joined the Hoops until the end of the season back in August, with Celtic including an option to buy him permanently in the summer, in the deal with Stoke (BBC Sport).
However, Bauer has not been a regular in the starting lineup following his move, with the Austrian international making just 13 appearances so far this season (Transfermarkt).
Earlier this week, the defender admitted to being frustrated at the lack of first-team football he has had this campaign; indirectly blaming Jeremie Frimpong’s emergence as the reason he has been overlooked (Daily Record).
Bauer was once again an unused substitute during Celtic’s 5-0 drubbing of Hearts on Wednesday, as the Hoops extended their lead at the top of the table.
Following his comments, we asked supporters whether they feel he deserves more first-team action this season.
However I think it’s safe to say these fans were not keen on that idea.

Twitter: @ReadCeltic Definitely 3rd in the pecking order but thought he was decent against Clyde. His movement and pace doesn’t compare to frimpong. (@celticrconne203)
