A video has emerged on social media of the moment fans inside Celtic Park were made aware of the Rangers result on Wednesday night.

Neil Lennon’s men ensured their perfect start to 2020 continued against Hearts, with the 5-0 victory their eighth consecutive win in all competitions since the turn of the year.

The goals came from five different scorers, with defensive duo Christopher Jullien and Jozo Simunovic getting on the scoresheet, while Olivier Ntcham, Ryan Christie and Callum McGregor also found the back of the net.

The win, combined with Rangers’ 2-1 defeat to Kilmarnock, means Celtic now have a 10-point gap between themselves and their rivals in the race for the title.

And following the victory, a number of supporters inside Celtic Park were cheering the Bhoys off the pitch when the stadium announcer began reading the scores from the latest round of Premiership fixtures out.

The Rangers result was announced, and greeted by a loud cheer by Celtic supporters who were clearly delighted to hear the news.
