A number of Celtic fans have reacted to Neil Lennon’s comments about the supporters who travelled to Pittodrie on Sunday to watch the Hoops in action.

Storm Dennis caused major problems for many throughout the UK over the weekend, with weather warnings still in place until 11am on Monday (BBC Scotland).

However, the disruption did not stop Celtic fans from packing out the away end at Pittodrie on Sunday, as they saw their side win a ninth game in succession since the return from the winter break.

Callum McGregor opened the scoring early on, before Aberdeen grabbed a deserved equaliser midway through the first-half through Ash Taylor.

Celtic eventually found a winner through Kristoffer Ajer with nine minutes of the game remaining to maintain the Hoops’ 10-point advantage over Rangers in the table.

Following the win, Lennon was full of praise for the travelling support at Pittodrie, and these fans certainly appreciated the praise from the Celtic boss.
