Celtic face competition in race for Elyounoussi
Mohamed Elyounoussi is attracting attention from La Liga ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Football Insider, Spanish outfit Real Sociedad are interested in signing the winger permanently at the end of the season, and they have reportedly made him one of their main transfer targets for the summer.
The website also state that Southampton are looking to receive a fee in the region of £8-£10 million for the Norway international as he is out of favour under Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Elyounoussi enjoyed an excellent first half of the season on loan with Celtic before injury disrupted his campaign somewhat.
The 25-year-old scored seven times and created six assists in his first 13 games for the club, but he has been unable to add to that tally in 2020 (Transfermarkt).
However, three of his four appearances since the turn of the year have come from the bench, with Celtic’s 3-0 win over Clyde in the Scottish Cup being his only start so far (Transfermarkt).
Football Insider also claimed earlier this month that Celtic while Neil Lennon is keen on keeping Elyounoussi at the club beyond this season, the Hoops are not rushing into a permanent move for him.
Do you think Celtic should make a permanent move for Elyounoussi?
Yes
No
However, could that now change with Sociedad identifying him as one of they key targets?
I believe Celtic should continue biding their time to see whether the 25-year-old rediscovers his form during the second half of the season, as £8-£10m would represent a large outlay for the club, considering how the club’s transfer record is the £9m they spent on signing Odsonne Edouard (Sky Sports).
