Celtic grounded out a deserved 2-2 draw against Livingston on Wednesday night, as they increased their lead at the top of the table to 13 points.
It was always going to be a difficult against the West Lothian side, who defeated the Hoops earlier in the season and have an impressive home record.
However, Callum McGregor opened the scoring in the 16th minute, as he fired the ball in from the edge of the box, a shot the goalkeeper would have been disappointed to let in.
Albeit, the visitors’ lead was short-lived as defender Jon Guthrie got on the end of a Fraser Forster fumble from a long throw-in in the 24th minute.
Neil Lennon’s side looked slightly rattled after the equaliser, which continued into the second half as an error from Christopher Jullien at the back allowed Lyndon Dykes to tee-up Scott Robinson and fire Livi ahead with 46 minutes on the clock.
As expected, the hosts sat back and defended relentlessly. The Hoops threw everything at them, yet failed to truly trouble the ‘keeper.
As the score from Ibrox rang around the stadium, Celtic were urged to find an equaliser in extra-time. Odsonne Edouard picked up the ball and danced his way down the left, scooped a ball into the box as Tom Rogic, albeit unconvincingly, secured a dramatic late equaliser.
