Celtic should cut their losses with Marian Shved in the summer transfer window, amid reports he’s unhappy with his situation at the club.
According to Football Insider, a source close to Celtic has revealed how Shved is looking to move away at the end of the season, as he is unhappy with the lack of first-team opportunities Neil Lennon has handed him this season.

Given how the 22-year-old has only made three appearances in all competitions this season (Transfermarkt), his frustrations are understandable.
But with the amount of competition for places there is at Celtic, the Hoops should look to cut their losses on the player they spent £2million on in 2019 (Football Insider).
Lennon spoke openly about Shved’s struggles to settle in at Celtic and how his performance levels in training were not up to a high enough standard last month (Daily Record), highlighting why he has been overlooked as often as he has this season.
Furthermore, Lennon has also revealed how he is looking to give Daniel Arzani some game time towards the end of the season.
This emphasises how far Shved is down the pecking order, given how a loanee who is currently set to leave the club in the summer is in line to be handed first-team opportunities ahead of him.
And Yaroslav Zvarych, who is the Ukranian scout who alerted Celtic to Shved’s ability, also believes the winger underestimated how difficult it would be to break into the first-team at the club (Daily Record).
Therefore it appears as though Shved is no longer needed at the club, and given how he is apparently looking for a move away, Celtic should allow him to leave in the summer.
