Kristoffer Ajer’s agent Tore Pedersen has caused quite the stir on social media following his comments about the defender’s future, with a number of Celtic fans reacting to what he had to say.
According to the Daily Record, Pedersen has claimed that Ajer will be leaving Celtic at the end of the season, with the Norway international having no intention of signing a new deal with the club.
Ajer is currently contracted to the club for another two years, and reports earlier this season suggested Celtic were in talks with the 21-year-old over a new deal (Football Insider).
Those reports claimed that a deal was expected to have been completed during the January transfer window, but an agreement between both parties was not reached and Ajer now looks as though he’ll be on his way in the summer.
