Celtic were going to be head into Sunday’s Glasgow Derby 13 points clear of Rangers in the league before the match was suspended and that gap suggests that fans were right to question Craig Beattie’s bizarre title race comments earlier this season.
The former striker spoke to Sky Sports about what appeared to be a race for the title back in November, questioning whether Celtic had the “bottle” to sustain a potential challenge from Rangers.
⁉️ Do Celtic have the bottle for a title race?
That's the question asked by Craig Beattie with his former club ahead of Rangers on goal difference in the Scottish Premiership.

Following his comments, a number of Celtic supporters criticised what Beattie had to say, considering how the Hoops had won eight titles in succession prior this season.
But following the final game before the winter break, it looked as though we were all set for a big title race during the second half of the season.
However as we know, the respective forms of both teams in 2020 has shown just who has the bottle to sustain a title push.
And what would you know, it’s the team who have done it for the past eight seasons in succession, and who have won the previous 10 domestic trophies available to them.
Had this weekend’s game gone ahead, Celtic could have moved 16 points clear of Rangers with seven games remaining.
