Andy Robertson made a brilliant dig at Virgil van Dijk on Twitter earlier this week, in response to a question about a photo of the pair of them battling for the ball during their respective spells in Scotland.
Van Dijk enjoyed an excellent two-year stint with Celtic following a £2.6 million move from FC Groningen in 2013, with the Dutchman winning three trophies before his £13m move to Southampton.
During his time with Celtic, he came up against Robertson, a boyhood Hoops fan, whilst he was playing for Dundee United, where made 44 appearances in total before earning a move to Hull City in 2014.
To kill some time and keep people entertained whilst football all across Europe has been postponed, Robertson asked users on Twitter to send him some questions in for him to answer.
One user shared a photo of Van Dijk and the left-back competing for the ball during a clash between Celtic and Dundee United six years ago.
The question asked Robertson whether either he or Van Dijk remembered the fixture and if so, who won the ball between in that challenge, and the left back’s response was excellent.
