Celtic tweeted highlights of the goals from their simulated victory over St Johnston on Pro Evolution Soccer but the post hasn’t gone down too well with some supporters.
In the absence of real life football, Celtic turned to the famous football video game to simulate a match against St Johnstone on Saturday, as the Hoops were supposed to be hosting them at Parkhead.
The match would’ve been the Saints’ second trip to Celtic Park this season, and they would’ve been hoping to improve on their last outing when Neil Lennon’s men put plenty of goals past them in a 7-0 drubbing.
However, things didn’t get much better for them in Celtic’s simulation of the fixture on PES.
The game played out a 4-0 victory for the Hoops on this occasion, with Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths both scoring twice.
Celtic uploaded highlights of all four goals to Twitter on Monday, but these fans urged them to stop with the PES highlights.
