UEFA are being urged to make a decision about what will happen with the rest of this season in the Premiership and in domestic leagues across Europe – the outcome of which could have a huge impact on Celtic.

According to the Daily Record, UEFA have begun talks over what to do with the qualifying rounds for the Europa League and Champions League next season, after the final’s for both were cancelled this term.

Football’s leading officials in the UK, therefore, want answers from Europe’s governing body about the impact that will have on the outcome of this season if the campaign cannot be finished.

Of course, any decision that is made about the rest of the 2019/20 season is likely to have a big impact on Celtic’s title chances this campaign.

Yesterday it was reported by Football Insider that the remaining fixtures in the Premiership could be completed by early July, with plans suggesting football could return a month before.

And this would be the best outcome for all involved, as it would see the season completed fully.

However, UEFA’s decision to cancel both the Champions League and Europa League final’s suggests that a return that soon may not be able to happen.

Do you think this season will be able to be completed?

Yes

No

And if they deem that is the case then the SPFL could be forced to make a decision that might see Celtic crowned champions.
