Celtic fans have been discussing on social media whether Paul Lambert should be considered a Hoops legend following his career with the club.
The former midfielder enjoyed an illustrious playing career both at Celtic and prior to joining the club back in 1997, winning the Champions League with Borussia Dortmund as well as eight trophies with the Hoops and a further Scottish Cup triumph during his St. Mirren days.
One of his standout moments before his Celtic move came in that Champions League win when he essentially man marked Zinedine Zidane out of the game and also provided an assist in the 3-1 win for Dortmund.
He continued that form for Celtic during his eight-year spell with the club, and nearly enjoyed European success once again when he captained the Hoops during their run to the UEFA Cup final in 2003.
And his success with the club was highlighted in a tweet by @Ants_K, who sparked a debate about the midfielder when he described him as a Celtic legend.
