Signing Kavanagh could prove to be an excellent piece of business in the future for Celtic, if the 16-year-old flourishes at the club. The teenager appears to be an exciting talent given the calibre of clubs who are interested in him, and he has impressed for Boro’s Under-18s recently with a goal against Liverpool in a 3-0 win.
Furthermore, the Hoops have a proven track record of signing youngsters and helping them develop into top players at the club, given how they signed Moussa Dembele on a similar deal back in 2016 before selling him for a record fee at the time of £19.7 million two years later.
And that could work in Celtic’s favour when it comes to the striker making a decision about his future, as that kind of proven success could make Parkhead an attractive proposition for him. Therefore, a move could suit both parties involved if Kavanagh sees Celtic as his preferred option.
