Celtic have been linked with a move for Adrian Grbic, with TEAMtalk reporting the Hoops are one of four clubs interested in him.
With that in mind, we’ve decided to take a look at his career so far and how he has performed this season.
Grbic is a 23-year-old striker who is currently playing for French side Clermont Foot.
The forward stands at 6ft 1in and was born in Austria.
CAREER SO FAR
The striker began his playing career with Austrian outfit SC Wiener Viktoria Youth before joining Rapid Vienna’s youth team.
The 23-year-old then joined Rheindorf Alteich the following summer before making the switch to Clermont prior to the start of this season.
Grbic had been a key man for Clermont this campaign prior to the suspension of football until further notice.
He had contributed to over half of his team’s goals in the league with his 17 strikes and four assists helping the Ligue 2 side mount a push for promotion to the top flight in France.
The striker has represented Austria at every age group at youth level apart from the U20 side due to his involvement in the U21 squad, making 59 appearances in total.
He made his debut for the U21s back in 2017 and has scored five times for his country at that level, but he is yet to make his senior debut.
However, considering how Kadewere was signed for a fee of €16.6m by Lyon and Grbic has a similar goalscoring record to him in Ligue 2 this season, Clermont may well demand a fee in that region as well.
