BT Sport to replay Celtic’s famous win over Manchester United

With no live football to watch, plenty of fans have been reminiscing about years past by watching replays of famous games.

This week, BT Sport are allowing Celtic supporters to get in on the action by airing a half-hour highlights package of Celtic’s famous Champions League Group Stage win against Manchester United from back in 2006

BT’s current schedule shows that at 6:30pm on Thursday, a replay will be shown of the game, where Shunsuke Nakamura’s brilliant free-kick earned Celtic a 1-0 victory to send them to the knockout stages of the Champions League for the first time.

As well as the Japanese international, Celtic had another hero on that night as goalkeeper Artur Boruc secured the famous win by saving a late penalty from Man United striker Louis Saha.

The United team, featuring the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Cristiano Ronaldo, were sent packing and we will all get to re-live that famous win once again this Thursday.
