Celtic are showing an interest in signing Lille forward Fadiga Ouattara, as per a report from the usually reliable Get French Football News.
The 19-year-old, who is reportedly attracting interest from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig and Spaniards’ Valencia, is seemingly the next product of the French football youth set-up to catch the eye of Celtic’s scouting network.
The Hoops have had success when signing young French players in the recent past, with both Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard scoring plenty of goals in the famous green and white shirt.

Celtic already have a lot of attacking players in their squad, but Ouattara could still be more than useful addition due to his versatility.
The 19-year-old has played on both flanks and as a central attacker for the Lille youth sides and with his contract at the Ligue 1 side nearing its end, he could be available for a relative bargain.
Celtic made a big profit on Dembele and they would certainly make a big profit if they sold Edouard in the near future, so it’s clear that the club’s policy in the transfer market is working well.
