In a recent interview with Football Fancast, Rangers striker Jermain Defoe insisted that it’s only a matter of time before his club wins the title, and it’s fair to say that a lot of Celtic fans don’t agree with him!
Celtic have won the last eight Premiership titles and are on course to win a ninth, whether that be if football resumes or if the season is called off early.
That means that the Hoops, under the guidance of Neil Lennon, will be aiming to win an incredible tenth title in a row next season, but Defoe is apparently confident that his club, despite their post-winter collapse this season, will be able to stop Celtic in 2020/21.
These Celtic fans took to social media to either laugh at, or disagree with, the former Tottenham forward.

One thing guaranteed is that Jermain will be long gone from Ibrox before this ever happens.

Even former Hoops’ striker Chris Sutton was keen to have a dig at the veteran Rangers player!
