Celtic are lining up a move to sign Tottenham star Jack Clarke this summer, according to a report from Football Insider.
Celtic tried to sign the teenager on loan in January, but the player ended up going to Queens Park Rangers instead, but it appears that the Hoops are interested in taking the 19-year-old on loan for the entire 2020/21 season.
Clarke joined Spurs from Leeds United back in July 2019, but he was immediately loaned back to the Championship side for the entire 2019/20 campaign.
However, as Leeds battled for promotion at the top of the table, manager Marcelo Bielsa chose to give other forwards game-time and as such, Spurs decided to recall him and loan him to QPR.
However, with it looking unlikely that he’ll break into the Tottenham side next season, Celtic apparently want to take the North Yorkshire-born star for the entire next campaign.

Clarke played very well for Leeds at a young age in 2018/19, scoring two goals in 25 games as the Whites narrowly missed out on promotion back to the Premier League.
It was that form which saw Spurs sign the winger for around £10m, but since then, he’s found game time hard to come by.
Celtic, if the deal goes through, could offer more playing time to the teenager but it remains to be seen if that would be enough for Spurs.
Celtic have plenty of attacking options of their own and unless there is some type of guarantee of playing time, then it may be that Tottenham choose to send him to a club with fewer attackers than the Hoops.
