Former England and Sunderland striker Kevin Phillips has tipped Celtic to sign Jordon Ibe on a free transfer.
Bournemouth have announced that they will not be offering the winger a contract extension and therefore, he’s free to move to another club in the summer.
Celtic have been linked with a move to sign Ibe in the past and speaking to Football Insider, Phillips tipped the Scottish champions to take the former Liverpool man on a free transfer and hopefully help him get his career back on track.
He said:
[A move to Celtic] could be a great move for him. Go and resurrect his career and show everyone what a top player he is.

It’s been a long time since Ibe made his professional debut and since then, two Premier League clubs have given up on him.
Liverpool were more than happy to take the cash when they sold him to Bournemouth and the Cherries want him off the books.
However, Celtic could easily take a flyer on the winger, provided they can agree a contract that doesn’t leave them liable for too much money if things go sour.
Scott Sinclair was once in a similar situation to Ibe, where he’d almost become and afterthought in England, and he was a great signing for Celtic, so the same could easily apply to Ibe if he is prepared to work hard, just like Sinclair did.
