Celtic defender Jack Hendry looks set to leave the club on loan once again with Belgian side KV Oostende hoping to take him for the 2020/21 season, as per the Daily Record.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan in Australia at Melbourne City but was hardly able to feature after picking up a knee injury which required surgery.
He’s currently back in pre-season training with The Hoops as he eases his way back to full fitness but he is expected to be loaned out again.
KV Oostende only narrowly avoided relegation last season and had the Belgian league been completed in its entirety, they may well have gone down.
As such, they’re looking for reinforcements and have identified Hendry as a player they’d like to bring in.

With just two years remaining on his Celtic contract, this looks to be a pivotal time for Hendry in his career.
The Daily Record suggests that the player is keen to prove himself at Celtic but given the season he spent on the sidelines, a loan move might be the best way for him to get back to full fitness and show that he has a future at Parkhead.
Also, if Neil Lennon isn’t keen on Hendry, then a loan move could be a good way to put the player in the shop window as any interested parties would likely want to see how he looks post-surgery before making a decision to sign him.
