Celtic defender Jack Hendry could be set leave the club on a loan move once again, with Belgian side KV Oostende hoping to take him for the entire 2020/21 season, according to a report from the Daily Record.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan with Australian side Melbourne City but a serious knee injury meant he hardly featured at all for the A-League club.
With just two years left of his contract at Celtic, and with a loan move for the season potentially on the cards, questions must be asked about Hendry’s long-term future.
We asked a number of Celtic supporters via our Facebook page, if they think that the defender has a long-term future at the club and it’s fair to say the majority of fans who replied think the club should let him go.
Here are just some of the replies:
Kim Rigby: Not good enough to play for Celtic.
David Craig: No, (he did) ok at Dundee but too big (of a) rise to Celtic.
Douglas Simmons: St Mirren standard. Bye!
Robert Bruce: Not good enough.
Pat McLaughlin: No not good enough.. simple!
Deaglan Macfearghais: No, not good enough.
