FC Utrecht winger Gyrano Kerk looks set to be on the move, as they plan to cash in on their star player in the next transfer window.
The Dutchman has been on Celtic’s radar in previous windows and the Hoops even had a bid rejected for the player back in January.
Klerk’s agent Richinel Bryson said:
Movement in the transfer market has been held up because of the coronavirus crisis, but it’s back now. I have been in plenty of Zoom conversations with big foreign clubs. Gyrano has proved he’s ready for the next step, although it’s not a foregone conclusion that he will leave. But he is very ambitious. He is 24 years old and has had a very strong season.
Speaking last month, Utrecht’s manager John van den Brom was quite sure that Celtic would rekindle their interest in the winger in the next transfer window.

Kerk’s goals and assist record at Utrecht is very good, especially considering that he’s only 24.
He’s clearly very talented and the Dutch outfit will be looking to receive a decent transfer fee for selling one of their best players.
Back in January, Klerk stated that he was interested in a move to the Premier League, rather than the SPL.
This statement could indicate that the Dutchman has his heart set on a move to England’s top division, and if one of the other clubs he’s in talks with is a Premier League side then that may sway his decision.
If Celtic are willing to go head to head with some big clubs across Europe for Klerk’s signature, then he could be a top addition to Neil Lennon’s side.
