James Forrest urges Fraser Forster to return to Celtic
Celtic winger James Forrest has revealed that everyone at his club is desperate for goalkeeper Fraser Forster to return to Parkhead this summer, according to The Daily Record.
Forster’s potential return to Celtic has been one of the most debated transfer stories in the last few weeks, with it being revealed recently that a deal is still being negotiated with Southampton.
Forster’s performances on loan last season were stellar and the goalkeeper contributed hugely to Celtic’s ninth consecutive championship win.
Forrest said:
Everyone is hoping Fraser comes back. I played with Fraser before and then last season, he came back and did tremendous. We just need to wait and see over the next couple of weeks to see what he decides but we all want him back.
Neil Lennon has confirmed that Celtic are looking at alternatives if the deal doesn’t materialise.

It’s not often that you see players openly give a rallying cry for another player to return to a club, which indicates just how well-regarded Forster is in Glasgow.
Forrest has played with Forster on multiple occasions during his years at Celtic Park, which will hopefully help influence Forster’s decision on whether he wants to return.
The giant shot-stopper won’t be sold cheaply and Celtic don’t necessarily want to break the bank to sign him, with finances being fairly tight at this moment in time.
This transfer saga may go on for a while yet, but if Celtic can recapture Forster’s services, then it would be a huge positive for the Scottish Champions.
