Celtic are reportedly interested in Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu, according to a report from his homeland outlet SportsWorldGhana.
The Hoops tried to sign the Ghana international on deadline day in January but that deal collapsed with Atsu opting to stay at St James’ Park and fight for his place in the side.
It proved to be an ill-advised decision as he only played six minutes of Premier League football afterwards, having been left out of the matchday squad entirely on numerous occasions.
Now Neil Lennon could be back in for the 28-year-old once more as the Hoops boss looks to strengthen his squad for the push for 10 Scottish Premiership titles in a row.
The Magpies are reportedly willing to accept offers for the former Chelsea man as Steve Bruce looks to bolster his own transfer kitty in order to strengthen his squad.

It remains unclear whether Celtic would opt for a permanent move or a loan deal for the winger.
Atsu has made over 100 appearances for Newcastle, including outings made during a loan spell before he made his move permanent.
The 65 times capped Ghanian has undoubted ability to make things happen out of nothing and could provide a missing x-factor for Lennon’s squad should the Bhoys struggle to break down their opponents as has happened a few times already this season.
