The rumours linking free agent Ryan Fraser with a switch to Celtic have emerged once again as the Telegraph have linked the club with a move.
Despite Premier League side Newcastle seemingly edging towards landing the Scottish international, the Hoops are thought to still be in the mix.
Having agreed personal terms with the 26-year-old, Steve Bruce’s side are now waiting for the player to determine whether he actually wants to move to St James’ Park.
Fraser is reported to prefer a move up north to be closer to his family in Scotland, meaning a switch to Parkhead is far from out of the question.

The winger, who had a disappointing 2019/2 campaign for Bournemouth, seemingly blighted by his own desire to leave the club before their eventual relegation, has yet to decide upon his preferred destination.
Once linked with moves to various top-six Premier League clubs, Fraser’s options have become a little less flattering since his dip in form, although there is still a player of immense quality to be had, and for free.
It remains to be seen whether Fraser accepts the Newcastle move, should he not, Neil Lennon would be wise to be on standby, however, his wage demands of a reported £100k a week would have to be reduced dramatically for him to become a Celtic player.
