Sampdoria willing to consider Celtic bids for Omar Colley
Sampdoria are waiting to see how much Celtic are willing to bid for Gambian defender Omar Colley, according to Calciomercato.
It is reported that Celtic see Colley as a replacement for Kristoffer Ajer, who could still leave the club before the transfer window closes.
Despite interest from the Scottish champions, the 27-year-old is happy in Italy and is willing to open contract negotiations with the club over a new contract, and is currently not in any rush to decide on his future.
But the report also suggests Sampdoria president has said that he is willing to sell the centre back if he receives an offer he can not refuse. Colley’s release clause is currently set at around £11m.
The Scottish giants don’t seem to be the only club interested in the Gambian international, with a host of Premier League and European clubs keen on signing him this summer.

If Ajer does leave the club before the deadline, manager Neil Lennon will be desperate to bring in a replacement for the Norwegian, and Colley seems the most likely candidate at this point.
The Hoops would be able to activate his release clause with the funds from the Ajer sale, and they would be adding an experienced and proven centre back to their ranks.
This would be a big transfer coup for Celtic if they can tempt the 27-year-old to Celtic Park.
