A report from SampNews24 has claimed that Celtic had a bid rejected for Sampdoria centre-back Omar Colley.
It is claimed that the Scottish champions saw a bid in the region of £10 million rejected for the Sampdoria star, who has two years remaining on his contract.
The report also claims that the Hoops retain their interest in the 27-year-old, however, they are only likely to resurrect an offer should Kristoffer Ajer leave the club amidst interest from AC Milan.

Gambian international Colley has shone since arriving at Sampdoria from Belgian side KRC Genk in the summer of 2018.
The powerful central defender, who has been linked with numerous clubs this transfer window, has made 56 appearances for the Serie A club and has become an integral part of the squad.
As things stand, Lennon is satisfied with his defensive options. although that could change dramatically should AC Milan make their interest in Ajer more noteworthy.
It seems Celtic are keeping a keen eye on Colley should they need to act fast as the transfer window entered its final fortnight.
