Celtic left it late to defeat a struggling St Johnstone side 2-0 on Sunday.
Substitute Leigh Griffiths marked his first appearance of the season with a late header to give the Hoops the lead, before another replacement, Patryk Klimala, got his name on the scoresheet with a fine finish.
Neil Lennon made three changes to the team who beat FK Sarajevo on Thursday, with club captain Scott Brown dropping to the bench.
David Turnbull was handed his first start for the Hoops, while Olivier Ntcham and Hatem Abd Elhamed were also given a go from the off.
It was a lacklustre display by Celtic, who were handed a scare at the start of the second half when Craig Conway struck the post for the home side.
The late strikes take the Hoops to 25 points from a possible 27 and also earns them an eighth straight win in all competitions.
Here are our Celtic player ratings following the at McDiarmid Park…
Vasilis Barkas - 6
Barkas didn’t have to make a save. Nearly got caught out by Conway’s effort at the beginning of the second half, though.
Jeremie Frimpong - 5
Was kept quiet for most of the match thanks to Scott Tanser.
Kris Ajer - 6
Wasn’t troubled at all and barely put a foot wrong.
Shane Duffy - 6
Was a threat at attacking set pieces and a composed figure at the back.
Hatem Abd Elhamed - 6
Lovely cross for Griffiths’ header when needed, struggled at times defensively.
Greg Taylor - 4
Failed to make any positive impact down the left.
Callum McGregor - 6
The skipper for the day sprayed the ball around well but struggled to get forward as much as he’d of liked.
David Turnbull - 5
Failed to back up his impressive second-half showing against Hibernian on his first start.
Olivier Ntcham - 4
A silly yellow card in the first half. Didn’t get going at all.
Odsonne Edouard - 4
Off the pace throughout and was rightly taken off by Lennon in the second half.
Mohamed Elyounoussi - 4
Wasn’t at the races at all.
Patryk Klimala - 6
Nearly made an instant impact after coming on. Eventually got his goal with the last ation of the game.
Ryan Christie - 5
Tried everything in the final stages to create chances.
Leigh Griffiths - 6
Popped up with a brilliant header when Lennon needed him most.
Tom Rogic - 4
Few nice touches after coming on but couldn’t really make an impact.
Scott Brown - 4
First time as a substitute in the league since December 2018 and only had 10 minutes to make an impact. Probably should’ve started.
