Celtic fans want to see Edouard return against Hibs
Odsonne Edouard hasn’t started a league game for Celtic in over six weeks, but some Hoops supporters want that run to end this weekend.
Neil Lennon’s side travel to Hibernian on Saturday, looking to make it successive Scottish Premiership wins, which would close the gap on rivals Rangers in the process.
Edouard has been away on international duty with France U21s over the last seven days. The 22-year-old netted his 14th and 15th goals at that level for his country against Switzerland on Monday.
Those strikes resulted in him leapfrogging former Parkhead pal Moussa Dembele and into the French record books.
His impressive recent form could lead to a return to Lennon’s starting line-up.
@PodTims asked their followers on Tuesday who should start up front at Easter Road out of Edouard, Albian Ajeti, Leigh Griffiths and Patryk Klimala.
The post received plenty of interaction, with these fans all wanting to see the Frenchman, who looked ‘unreal’ for France under-21’s, back in Neil Lennon’s starting thoughts.
