Celtic dropped two more Scottish Premiership points on Saturday after a 2-2 draw against Hibernian.

Neil Lennon’s side did fight back from two goals down, however, many supporters were left unimpressed with Jeremie Frimpong’s display.

Many Celtic fans wanted the right-back left out for Hatem Elhamed before the game, however, Lennon handed the youngster his 11th league start.

Frimpong played the entirety of the draw, with late goals from Odsonne Edouard and Diego Laxalt cancelling out Jamie Murphy and Kevin Nisbet’s second-half strikes.

Frimpong ended with a WhoScored rating of 6.32 – the worst score out of the four Hoops defenders.

He made just one tackle, clearance and interception – completing the least amount of passes out of any Celtic defender (WhoScored).

This is what these Celtic fans had to say about the teenager’s display at Easter Road, with one fan describing his performance as ‘useless’.

Should Frimpong be dropped for Elhamed?

Yes

No

Celtic are now eight points behind rivals Rangers, however, Steen Gerrard’s side can stretch the lead to 11 if they beat Aberdeen on Sunday.
