Peterborough United forward Siriki Dembele has handed in a transfer request over the last 24 hours.
Celtic have been linked with a move for the 24-year-old in recent weeks, and many Hoops fans now want the club to act this month following the update.
Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph shared the news on Monday evening, claiming that Rangers, Newcastle and the Scotland national team have been monitoring the player in recent months.
Dembele, who is the brother of Celtic’s Karamoko, is out of contract at the end of the season, but it appears as if he wants to seal an immediate deal away in the current winter window.
He’s netted five times and registered five assists in 17 League One games for the Posh this season, with his last strike coming back in October. [Transfermarkt]
Joseph’s post got the attention of several Hoops supporters, with many urging the club to make their move.
