Motherwell defender Declan Gallagher is reportedly keen to push through a move to Celtic.
That’s according to the Daily Record, who claim that Aberdeen, Blackburn Rovers and Hibernian are also monitoring the player’s situation alongside the Hoops.
The 29-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, however, his Fir Park stay could be extended for a further 12 months.
That’s because Gallagher has a clause in his deal which would see a one-year extension if he plays 25 league games.
He’s currently on 20 and is desperate not to make 25 appearances as it may scupper his hopes of a big move.
Gallagher and his family are Celtic supporters and reportedly have their eyes set on a Parkhead move.

The update will be welcomed by several Hoops supporters, who wanted the club to move for Gallagher back in November after he helped Scotland reach the European Championships.
Neil Lennon is on the hunt for an experienced centre-back this month, and Gallagher would certainly fall into that category.
He has over 100 Scottish Premiership appearances under his belt, along with seven senior Scotland caps.
With his deal potentially up in six months time, a January move could well be a realistic one financially for Celtic.
Gallagher’s Transfermarkt valuation stands at £450,000, could that be enough to seal a deal?
