Diego Laxalt is currently halfway through his season-long loan at Celtic Park.
The Uruguayan has made 16 appearances in green and white, with the Hoops failing to agree on an option-to-buy clause with AC Milan in his temporary stay.
The player’s agent revealed last month that Laxalt has an eye on the Premier League in the summer, however, it appears as if the left-back has had a change of heart.
According to the reliable Gianluca Di Marzio, Laxalt has rejected a lucrative move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.
The report claims that he was offered a three-year contract worth ‘almost’ €3m a season, but his ‘priority’ is to join Celtic in the summer.
Celtic are thought to be ‘considering’ a permanent move for the South American, with Milan looking for €8m (£7.2m).

Former Hoops man Frank McAvennie hailed the defender’s “never-say-die attitude” back in October, and we feel that attribute is key for the club in the long run.
Celtic, in our view, need a squad of players who know what it means to wear the famous shirt, and we feel that Laxalt has certainly shown that so far.
He’s reportedly turned down a lot of money to prioritise a move to Parkhead, and we feel that the club should look to make his move permanent as a result.
Kristoffer Ajer has been linked with a move to AC Milan in recent months, so the club could use the Norwegian as part of a deal for Laxalt.
Milan were planning a £14m move in the summer, so theoretically, Celtic could land Laxalt long-term and recieve some cash on the side if they are happy for Ajer to head the other way.
