Celtic have reportedly knocked £15m off their summer asking price for Odsonne Edouard during the January window, according to Football Insider.
And, as to be expected, the update had plenty of Hoops fans talking on social media.
The exclusive report, which was shared on Tuesday, claim that the club are looking to recieve £25m, should any side make a move for the Frenchman this month.
Football Insider went on to add in a separate story that Edouard is not in a hurry to leave Parkhead and would be willing to remain at the club until the summer.
The 22-year-old, who has 18 months left on his current contract, has scored 11 goals in 23 appearances so far this season, taking his Hoops tally to 72 goals in 151 games in green and white.
We shared the update on our official Read Celtic Facebook and Twitter pages, asking Hoops fans if the new asking price is a fair one.
This is what they had to say…
@Stephen53704822: Best to get him away now – value will drop again by the summer.
@Shippy67: Take it, now
@xliamboyle: For his quality, £10m is reasonable.
Manny Forgione: Must agree, get shut!
Jamie Moffat: We really should let him go for say 25 end of day if we don’t he goes for free that’s much much worse
Gerry Edmonds: We would have to make sure every penny is going to be reinvested in players not bonuses for certain people
Jimuck Ross: The way he’s played this season we will be lucky to get our 9mil back for him
