Celtic fans react to Newcastle’s Ntcham enquiry

Several Celtic fans have been reacting to a transfer update regarding midfielder Olivier Ntcham on social media.

According to Sky Sports reporters Anthony Joseph, Keith Downie and Dharmesh Sheth, Newcastle United have made a loan enquiry for the Frenchman.

The Hoops would reportedly prefer an option to buy clause included in any late deal, with the player making it clear he wishes to leave Parkhead.

Ntcham has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season, with his only goal coming against Motherwell in November.

He’s appeared to have fallen out of favour, though, with his last league start coming at the end of October.

Several Celtic supporters have hit out at the midfielder in recent months for his displays, and appear happy for him to move on.

This is what these Hoops fans had to say to Joseph’s social media update on Saturday afternoon, with plenty of supporters happy for the midfielder to leave.

One even described the update as ‘fantastic’.
