Neil Lennon has come under pressure in his position as Celtic manager this season, with plenty of fans staging physical and online protests regarding the Northern Irishman’s position.
The 49-year-old remains in charge of the Hoops, despite links to available managers Eddie Howe and Rafael Benitez in recent months, and Aston Villa assistant John Terry has now been linked as a potential successor to Lennon.
According to The Sun, cited by The 72, Celtic, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are all interested in the 40-year-old. The report claims that a move to the south coast with the Cherries remains Terry’s ‘most likely’ destination should he land his first management job.

To us, we don’t think the rumours regarding Terry will materialse, but they are certainly interesting.
He has gained some valuable experience alongside Dean Smith at Villa Park in recent years, helping Villa to kick on this term following a close escape from relegation last season.
Steven Gerrard has had a real impact at Rangers in his first managerial position, so if Celtic are actually keen on the ex-Chelsea defender, he could end up replicating his former England teammate’s success in Glasgow.
Of course, it is just speculation for now, so we’ll just have to wait and see if the links gather pace.
