Several Celtic fans have been heaping praise on midfielder David Turnbull after a specific league-leading stat emerged on social media.
The 21-year-old finally sealed a move to Parkhead last summer, joining from Motherwell in a deal worth £3m.
Turnbull had to stay patient for his chance to impress Neil Lennon, though, starting in just one of a possible 11 Scottish Premiership games after joining the Hoops.
However, following a match-winning display against Lille in the Europa League, the attacking midfielder has been an ever-present figure in Lennon’s side, making 21 appearances to date.
Plenty of supporters have praised Turnbull for his displays in recent months, with the youngster scoring five times and registering six assists in all competitions.
He’s also provided plenty of key passes during that time, as per WhoScored. Turnbull has averaged 2.6 key passes per game, the highest out of any player in the division.
