Celtic are planning a permanent move for on-loan star Mohamed Elyounoussi.
That’s according to an exclusive report from Football Insider, who claim that Southampton are set to drop their asking price for the Norway international.
The Saints wanted £8-10m for Elyounoussi last summer, however, that fee is set to drop to £5m at the end of the season.
Elyounoussi, 26, has been an ever-present figure in Neil Lennon’s side during the current campaign, scoring 13 goals and providing six assists in 31 appearances.

If the reports are accurate and the Saints are willing to sell at £5m, then we feel it should be a no-brainer for the Hoops.
The attacker’s current Transfermarkt valuation increased to £10.8m last month following his impressive displays, so the club would be getting him for half the price.
Elyounoussi is actually the second-highest valued player in the Scottish Premiership – only Odsonne Edouard is valued higher. (Transfermarkt)
He’s been one of a few shining lights for the club in what has been a poor overall season, but securing his services for the long-term could be a step in the right direction.
